Zoe Cromley, age 94, a long time resident of her home on East Eighth Street in Bloomsburg, died on Friday, December 10, 2010 a resident of Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall in Danville.
Zoe was born on Friday, March 24, 1916 in Mt. Pleasant Township, a daughter of the late Bruce and Bessie Crawford Parker. She was a member of the 1934 Graduating Class of the Bloomsburg High School. Throughout her earlier years, she was employed by Milco Industries Inc. in Bloomsburg and was later employed in the Mailroom of Columbia Insurance.
She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos with her friends.
She was preceded by her first beloved husband, Wallace Crist in 1968; and again by her second husband, Eugene H. Cromley in 1993; and also a son, James H. Crist on November 4, 2008.
Survivors include a daughter: Joyce C. Kindig of Lime Ridge; three grandchildren: Bonnie Sweeney and her husband, Daniel, of Lime Ridge, Diann Vera and her husband, Roy, of Lime Ridge and William Kindig and his wife, Kelly, of Millville; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 14 at 2 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home of 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg with her pastor, Rev. Ralph B. Hartenbach, officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Graveside Services will be held in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
