William L. Kishbaugh, age 62, a life-long resident of Berwick, died on Sunday, September 14, 2014 following the results of a motor vehicle accident.
William was born on Saturday, April 19, 1952 in Berwick, a son of the late Verncil and Carol (Cohick) Kishbaugh. Throughout his younger years, he attended the Berwick area schools and graduated in 1971 from the Columbia Montour Area Vocational Technical School. During most of his working career, William was employed as a commercial transport driver. He was also a member of the former Eagle's Social Club in Berwick.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother in infancy: Jeffrey Lee Kishbaugh.
Survivors include his two sons: James W. Kishbaugh and wife, Renee, of Berwick; and Clark R. Fahringer of Berwick; eight grandchildren; three step-children: Michael W. Mullins of Virginia; Jessica N. Fahringer of Berwick; and Diane M. Varner of Williamsport; and three siblings: Steven Kishbaugh of Williamsport; Daniel Kishbaugh of Nescopeck and Jane Evans of Berwick.
A celebration of William's life will be held on Thursday, September 18 at 1 p.m. from the Emmanuel Bible Chapel, 20 Kachinka Hollow Road in Berwick. Graveside services will be held privately in the Pine Grove Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Kishbaugh family.
