William D. "Bill" Moyer, age 75, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was a lifelong resident of Bloomsburg.

Bill was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1949 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Ralph D. and Mildred T. (Hill) Moyer. He graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1968. He faithfully served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War for three years and was honorably discharged on March 11, 1971. On June 24, 1977, Bill married his loving wife, the former Jane Albertson. For over 36 years, he was employed by Bloomsburg Mills as a mill worker until his retirement. Bill was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg and was an avid sportsman.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother. Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years, Jane Moyer of Bloomsburg.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Moyer family.
