Wendy M. Mowery's Obituary
Wendy M. Mowery, age 43, a 12 year resident of East Fourth St., Bloomsburg, died Thursday, May 5, at her home. She had been ill since October 2009.
Wendy was born September 7, 1967 in Pheonixville, PA a daughter of Sharon (Richart) Long of Bloomsburg. She graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1985.
Wendy was last employed by the Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she was a Certified Nurse's Assistant. She was a member of Post 8227 VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Am Vets Post 93 Ladies Auxiliary both of Nescopeck.
Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, Brian Mowery, two daughters: Samantha Richart of Bloomsburg and Christine Poticher of Catawissa; two grandchildren and two siblings: John Richart of Bloomsburg and Nicole Long of Maryland.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St. Floral tributes are gratefully declined. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. 501 St. Jude's, Place Memphis TN 38105.
