Wayne T. Eddy, Sr., age 60, of Bloomsburg, a very beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Wayne was a resident of his home in Bloomsburg for over 22 years.
He was born on Thursday, July 27, 1961, in Plymouth, a son of the late George G. and Frances L. (Williams) Eddy. Wayne graduated from the West Side Career & Technology Centers, Kingston in 1980, with an automotive mechanical degree, while in school he was a member of the 4H Club. On July 13, 1982, Wayne married his loving wife, the former Patricia A. Hartman. Wayne was a member of the Faith Chapel, Danville and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club Association. He loved motorcycle riding, playing Santa Claus, going to motorcycle runs, especially Camp Victory where he would win the ugliest, dirtiest rat bike trophy, no matter how dark the situation, he always made everyone laugh. His kids and grandkids meant everything to him. He loved flea markets, yard sales, helping friends, he was so loved by his family and friends anyone who knew him, knew that he would drop everything to help anyone in need. He will be missed dearly by everyone.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Eddy.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 39 years, Patricia A. Eddy, eight children: Wayne T. Eddy Jr. and fiancee Luann Hileman of Wapwallopen, Robin R. Eddy and fiancee Erica Harvey of Berwick, Patricia A. Cyphers and husband Michael of Berwick, Frances L. Eddy and fiancee Jared Whitesell of Bloomsburg, Ruthann A. Eddy and fiancee Brian Mowery of Bloomsburg, Linda J. Eddy and fiancee Adam Hartman of Berwick, George G. Eddy of Berwick, and Jacobmichael F. Eddy and fiancee Laura Letterman of Bloomsburg, 12 grandchildren, a brother, George Eddy and wife Bonnie of Wilkes-Barre and 3 sisters.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Bill Renno, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Sorber Cemetery, Shickshinny. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Eddy family.
