Walter J. Clark, age 77, of Orangeville, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at his home. Walter was a resident of his home in Scott Township for over 21 years.
He was born on Monday, April 1, 1946 in Penn Yan, NY, a son of the late Frank and Lena (Russell) Clark. Walter graduated from the Penn Yan High School. On July 17, 1995, Walter married his loving wife, Mary (Harner) Clark. He was employed by Penn State Mechanical Contractors as a HVAC Technician until his retirement in 2005. Walter was a member of the American Legion, Penn Yan, NY. Walter faithfully served his country and was honorably discharged from the US Army. He enjoyed working on cars.
In addition to his parents, Walter was also preceded in death by brothers: Frank Clark, Stanley Clark, and Stewart Clark and his faithful companions: Bandit and Max.
Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 29 years, Mary Clark; sister-in-law: Sherry (Craig) Unger of Gaines, PA, brother-in-law: Steve (Kay) Harner of Berwick: sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Krum of Orangeville, brother-in-law: Randy Harner of Sunbury, sister-in-law: Brenda Louise Harner of Orangeville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. He will be buried in St. Michael's Cemetery, Penn Yan, NY. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Clark and Harner families.
