Ann completed her high school education while living in England before moving to New Zealand, and then moved to the United States in 1981. She was a faithful attendee of the First English Baptist Church for many years. She was also a member of the local Women's Civic Association. When her time allowed, Ann loved spending her time sewing, caring for her lawn and garden during the cool months of the year. Ann was never one for the hot summer weather, but loved the different seasons of Pennsylvania.
