Victoria Anne "Vikki" Rothermel

Victoria Anne “Vikki” (Snyder) Rothermel, 68, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side Thursday, November 5, 2026, following eight-and-a-half-years of receiving dialysis treatment. Born in Lykens on April 27, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Carl L. Snyder, Sr. and the late MaryEllen (Lahr) Snyder-Fry.

Vikki was a graduate of Halifax High School, Class of 1976, and continued her education at Bloomsburg College, graduating in 1980. On June 10, 1978, she wed the love of her life, Steven R. Rothermel, with whom she would raise a family and share 48 years of marriage. Vikki was a long-time staffer at Bloomsburg Christian School, where she had taught 5-12th grade math and kindergarten. She also taught accounting at Central Penn Business School. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served on the Mission Committee. Vikki had a knack for organization, a trait that served her well in her personal life, as well as her professional life, and enjoyed puzzles and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed hiking, especially to visit waterfalls, and tandem bicycling. Vikki treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren, especially while taking family vacations.

Surviving Vikki is her beloved husband, Steven R. Rothermel of Bloomsburg; daughters: Ashley Fluke and husband, Aaron, of Bloomsburg and Kelly Rothermel of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Ryan Elizabeth Fluke, Evan Fluke, Levi Fluke, and Isaac Fluke; siblings: Carl Snyder, Jr. and wife, Byrdy, of South Abington and Jeffrey Snyder and wife, Tammy, of Mechanicsburg; and aunts and uncles: Gilbert “Gil” Snyder, Jeanne Snyder, Sandy Stahler, Eileen Snyder, and Marcia Matter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

All are welcome to join Vikki’s family for her Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, November 13, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church, 3300 Ridge Road, Bloomsburg, PA 17815. Reverend Timothy G. Smith will officiate. Friends will be received from 9 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment at Elan Memorial Park will follow the Funeral Service. Memorial contributions in Vikki’s name may be made to Bloomsburg Christian School, 3300 Ridge Road, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
