Vickie J. Jasinski, age 63, formerly of Palmyra, died on Friday, September 20, 2013 a resident of the Orangeville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orangeville, Pennsylvania. Vickie lived most of her life in the Palmyra area.
Vickie was born on Sunday, October 9, 1949 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Peter and Doris (Romberger) Harvey. Vickie completed her education after graduating from the Hershey High School. Vickie spent her life caring for her family in the home.
On November 30, 1999, Vickie was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Jasinski. She was also preceded by a son, Scott Sweigart in 2007 and also by a brother, Steve Harvey.
Survivors include two daughters: Connie Kline and husband, Herb, of Bloomsburg; and Robin Jasinski of Harrisburg; a son Sean Sweigart; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a step-son: Mark Ericson and wife, Wendy, of Georgia; a daughter-in-law: Joanna Sweigart of Middletown; a sister Karen Hopple and husband, John, of Palmyra; and a brother: Kevin Filippelli and spouse, Jamie, of Las Vegas, NV.
Vickie will be laid to rest in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. The Jasinski family is being assisted by the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
