Valerie MaGaw, age 57, of 218 Vandine St., Bloomsburg, died Tuesday evening in the Emergency Room of the Bloomsburg Hospital where she was taken from her father's home. Valerie was born February 16, 1953 in Bloomsburg, the only child of Ray and Dawn Lindenmuth Kressler of Bloomsburg. As a 1971 graduate of the Bloomsburg High School, Valerie was also a graduate of the Bloomsburg University. She was a member of Emanuel Reformed Church of Mainville. Preceding her in death was her husband, James w. MaGaw, Jr. on July 20, 2008. Survivors in addition to her parents are a son: Michael MaGaw of Bloomsburg and two sisters-in-law: Darnette Breisch and husband, Bradley, of Bloomsburg and Patricia Hartman and husband, Dale, of Danville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St. with her pastor, Rev. Thomas Fetterolf, officiating.
