Trudy E. Klinedinst, age 72, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior at her home in the Bloomsburg Towers on Monday, September 5, 2022.
She was born on March 9, 1950, in Bellefonte, PA, to Robert L. and Ruth M. (Grove) Klinedinst. She graduated from Bloomsburg Senior High School in 1968 and pursued an education degree at Bloomsburg State College before joining friends in Denver, CO.
Trudy loved children and worked as an early education teacher and assistant for over 30 years. Whether she was with her students, nieces and nephews, or young family friends, Trudy lit up when she was with or talked about them. She valued each child as unique. Trudy carried her passion into her faith life where she taught Sunday School, VBS, and worked on women's and social justice issues.
Trudy returned to Bloomsburg to care for her ailing parents. She was an active member and volunteer of St. Matthew Lutheran Church where she worshiped with family and, later in life, with Herb Kline and his family. She had a love for the Lord and family, friends and strangers alike. Trudy never had a large amount of material wealth but what she had, she gave freely and with much love. She is also remembered as the family communicator who always kept in touch with family members and friends.
