Obituary

Tresa Diann (Combs) Neiderhiser, age 58, of Bloomsburg, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2021. She courageously confronted a diagnosis of advanced stage cervical cancer on January 1, 2021, which quickly took her life. Even in the midst of facing her own mortality, Tresa maintained her sense of humor and deep concern for her family.

Tresa was born on October 25, 1962 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Colan and Carol Combs. She was a sister to Richard Allan Combs, Tamra Combs, and Garry Combs, and was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Combs. Tresa graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1980 and spent most of her career working in secretarial and customer service positions.

She worked at M&T Bank for 13 years, and most recently, was the administrative assistant at Willow Tree Wellness & Counseling for the past 5 years. Tresa also owned and operated "Outside the Bakery Box", a custom cake and cupcake business. Through her creativity, warm personality, and love for bringing joy to others through her cake creations, she touched the lives of many people in the community through her successful baking business.

In addition to baking, Tresa loved to travel with her family. She
traveled to Hawaii, the Caribbean, spent several weeks site seeing through Europe, and adventured to many other wonderful places around the world. Above all else, Tresa adored her family and selflessly devoted herself to making others happy. She is well known for her famous "octopus hotdogs", her love for Halloween and the many costumes she dressed up in over the years, and the way she made every holiday and important life event special and personal.

She will forever be loved and missed by her husband and life partner of 36 years, Dr. Robert Neiderhiser, her daughter, Nicole Combs Iacovoni (and husband, Thomas Iacovoni), her step children, Trisha Lukacs (and husband, Jay Lukacs), Melisa Thomas (and husband, Chad Thomas), and Robert Neiderhiser II (and wife, Jana Neiderhiser), her grandchildren, Jordyn Middaugh (and husband, Elijah Middaugh), Jerika Loff (and husband, Seth Loff), Madison Pickard, Elise Neiderhiser, Rylie Thomas, Macie Pickard, Evan Neiderhiser, Elan Iacovoni, Adley Iacovoni, and Ethan Neiderhiser, and her great-grandchildren, Deklan Middaugh, Rory Loff, Delilah Middaugh, and Carsyn Loff.

She was a loving dog mom to her Lhasa Apso, Bailey, whom she'll be reunited with in Heaven, and her Shitzu, Chloe.

A private service for immediate family will be held at a later date. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Neiderhiser family.

Memorial contributions in Tresa's name are suggested to help the family cover medical bills. Please make checks payable to "The Heart of the Bakery Box" and mail to Tamra Combs, 6745 Jefferson Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
