Traugott Albert Korn, age 89, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his home.

He was born on Friday, November 17, 1933 in Alberta, Canada, a son of the late Rev. William and Pauline Johanna (Vierthaler) Korn. He graduated from the Menno High School in Menno, SD. He expanded his education by attending University of South Dakota and graduated with a master's degree in mathematics. He married his loving wife, Angela (Swatski) Korn on October 5th, they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage. He worked as a Computer Consultant in Mathematics until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bloomsburg. He enjoyed spending his time producing math books, math games and puzzles. He was very active with his children lives including coaching. Well respected and loved by everybody. He supported his wife's passion for art and establishing an art gallery.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his two siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Korn of Bloomsburg and his three children: Jeffrey W. Korn of Los Angeles, CA, Edward Korn of Bloomsburg, Kimberly Korn of Henderson, NV, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Services will begin on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg with The Rev. Allison J. Carnahan, officiating.

Graveside committal services will immediately follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Korn family.
