Timothy Lee Hess, age 52, of Bloomsburg, died on Monday, September 23, 2013, a patient of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Tim was born on Thursday, August 3, 1961 in Bloomsburg, a son of James L. Hess of Bloomsburg and Joanne (Ent) Hess of Bloomsburg. While attending high school, Tim was a very accomplished athlete and held numerous baseball records. In 1980, Tim completed his education after graduating from the Bloomsburg High School. Tim was employed by many companies throughout the Susquehanna Valley. He was also a very big fan and player of baseball.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by a son: Cody J. Hess of Bloomsburg; four siblings: Linda Wondoloski and husband, Michael, of Baltimore, MD; Thomas Hess and wife, Becky, of Bloomsburg; Susan Miller and husband, Stephen, of Millville and Todd Hess of Bloomsburg.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday afternoon, September 29 from 1 to 2 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg
Funeral services will also begin on Sunday, September 29 at 2 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg with Pastor Caleb Fritz of the Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.
