Theresa Shustack, age 79, 463 Scotch Valley Drive, Bloomsburg, PA died Friday, October 17, 2008 at Columbia Montour Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville, PA where she had been a resident for two weeks ago. She had been in ill health since February. Mrs. Shustack had resided on Scotch Valley Drive since 1988. Theresa was born October 1, 1929 in West Mahanoy, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Casper) Kurilla. Theresa was a member of St. Columba Catholic Parish, Bloomsburg.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Shustack August 27, 2008; a sister: Elva Kurilla and a brother: Mickey Kurilla. Survivors include three daughters: Lorraine Bedingfield and her husband, Marty, Bloomsburg, Janet Ashwell and her husband, John, Collingswood, NJ and Joan Vaspoli and her husband, John, Bellmawr, NJ; son: Michael Shustack and his wife, Rose, Laurel Springs, NJ and three grandchildren: Michele Shustack, Francesca Rose Vaspoli and Anthony Blaise Vaspoli and a sister: Patricia Pratt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 21 at 10 A.M. from St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg with Rev. Joseph Fennessy as celebrant. Friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg. There will be a Wake Service at 7 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Shenandoah Hts.
