Theresa Puckett, age 62, of Brooklyn, New York, died on Friday, December 7, 2012 a patient of Mount Sinai Medical Center. Prior to moving to Brooklyn, Theresa was also a resident of Catawissa, Pennsylvania.
Theresa was born on Thursday, December 7, 1950 in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Vincent Spodobalski and Annabelle Carbaugh. She was a member of the 1969 Graduating Class of the Mechanicsburg High School. Many years later, Theresa also graduated Nursing School during the mid-1980's and received her certification as Licensed Practical Nurse. For many years, she worked throughout Pennsylvania as a Professional Care Giver. When time allowed, Theresa loved crocheting gifts for her family, and also loved completing word puzzles. Theresa also had large fondness for Carousel figurines and throughout years loved adding to her vast and unique collection.
Survivors include her five children: Christine Snyder and husband, Paul, of Locust Gap; Charles Robert Puckett III and wife, Jennifer, of Bloomsburg; Jeremey P. Puckett of Brooklyn, NY; Nathan Puckett of Lebanon, TN; and Pollyanna Puckett also of Brooklyn, NY; and also her four grandchildren.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, December 12 at 10 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. in Bloomsburg. Graveside services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
