Thadeus Alan Burke, age 22, of Catawissa, died on Sunday, October 2, 2016, in Catawissa. He was a resident of Columbia County his entire life.
Thadeus was born on Saturday, May 21, 1994 in Bloomsburg, a son of Todd A. and Dorie (Russell) Burke of Catawissa. Thadeus attended and later graduated from the Southern Columbia High School in 2012.
Thadeus was a member of the Shiloh Bible Church, Almedia. He was also an active volunteer at the Bloomsburg YMCA. He enjoyed spending his time weight lifting and spending time with his family, especially his younger cousins.
Survivors include his parents: Todd A. and Dorie (Russell) Burke of Catawissa; sister, Alexis Smith and husband, Stephen, of Philadelphia, PA, maternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Lou Russell of Lewisburg; paternal grandmother, Karen Burke of Bluffton, IN and paternal grandfather, William Burke and wife, Mary, of Huntington, IN.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Shiloh Bible Church, 123 Church St. (Almedia), Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Shiloh Bible Church in with his pastor, Rev. Dr. Douglas H. Lyon, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Burke family.
