Teresa Lynn Frey, age 50, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020, surrounded by her loving family in her home in Bloomsburg after a two year battle against appendix cancer. She was the seventh and last born child to Robert "Bob" Manning and Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth (Keith) Amick on December 31,1969, in Bloomsburg.

She was a 1987 graduate of Bloomsburg Christian School, and attended Word of Life Bible Institute for a year before she married Dean Alan Frey on August 20, 1988. Teresa made her mark around the world as a speaker and mentor, though she preferred to love others through intentional and heartfelt gift-giving. Traveling, as well as designing her dream home, became highlights of her life; and being present for her husband, children and grandchildren gave her the most purpose in the end. One of her most beautiful qualities was that of a genuine listener; and family, friends and strangers alike attest to the trust that she inspired with her unbiased love.

Teresa was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Wayne Amick in 1956 and Michael Alan Amick in 2019.

Along with her parents, survivors include her beloved husband of 32 years, Dean Alan Frey; four children, Zachary Frey and wife Flora of Gainesville, FL, Alexis wife of Levi Lukonen of Apex, NC, Levi Frey and wife Paulina of Bloomsburg, Haley Frey of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren, Teylyr, Micayah, Eliseo and Lyla Frey of Gainesville, FL, Malaki and Lenya Lukonen of Apex, NC; four siblings, Roberta wife of John Birt of Bloomsburg, Robert Amick, Jr. and wife Mary of Bloomsburg, Deborah wife of John Hartman of Orangeville, Naomi wife of Joseph Kontz of Holland, PA, a sister-in-law, Joyce Amick of Bloomsburg; along with so many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.

Those whose lives were touched by Teresa are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering at Columbia County Christian School, 123 Schoolhouse Road, Bloomsburg, on Saturday, December 19, 2020, from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, to reminisce, grieve, love and comfort one another. Later, at a 6:00 pm service, there will be limited space due to COVID restrictions; therefore you are welcome to join us virtually by way of Zach Frey's Facebook Live/Zoom if you prefer.
