Teralys E. Pennypacker, age 95, a life long resident of Bloomsburg, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the Balance Care at Bloomsburg where she had resided for over 5 years. Teralys was born August 31, 1913 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Howard and Clara Longenberger. She attended the Bloomsburg Area Schools.Teralys was last employed for the Bloomsburg Silk Mill as a machine operator, and was formerly employed by Hotel Magee. She enjoyed the activities of reading and bingo that she enjoyed up until her final days. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.Teralys was preceded in death by her late husband, Russell H. Pennypacker, three sons: Alvin Pennypacker, Lee Pennypacker, and Ricky Pennypacker; and a sister Evelyn Powers. Teralys was the last member of her immediate family.Survivors include four daughters: Judy Hock and her fiancé Ray Blackburn, Millville; Joan Sult and her husband Gratz, Lancaster; Evelyn Fedder and her husband Mike, Bloomsburg; Marlene Klinger and her husband Herschel, Bloomsburg; a son: Delbert Pennypacker and his wife Carolyn, Baltimore, Maryland; twenty grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg.
