Sue Ann (Duerscheidt) Williams, age 67, of Catawissa passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, on Friday morning June 4, 2021. Sue was born in Brooklyn, NY to John and Ruth (Massey) Duerscheidt. She attended New Hyde Park Memorial High School, graduating in 1972.

Sue was married to her college sweetheart, Davey. She met Dave at age 15 and God brought them back together when they unknowingly chose to attend the same college, Pinebrook Junior College. They celebrated 46 years of marriage in April.

After raising her three boys, which was one of her greatest accomplishments, Sue worked as a property manager for 20 years for Presbyterian Senior Living, primarily at the Towers in Bloomsburg, and Hillside Village. She loved her residents and would do anything to make them smile.

Sue was a long time member and Senior High Youth Group leader at the Elysburg Alliance Church. She later attended and led Women's Sunday School at the Catawissa Christian Church. She was an active part of her life group as well as her tight knit group friends who affectionately dubbed themselves the Blah Blah Girls. Her happy place was the beach and her favorite hobby was golfing.

In addition to her husband, Dave, she is survived by her sister, Joan (Duerscheidt) Bassett and her husband Clifford Sr. of Valrico, Fl, sons: Michael and his fiancé, Jody Worthington, of Bloomsburg; Jonathan and his wife Kaitlyn (Henninger), of Elysburg; Nathan and his wife Nicole (Thomas), of Bloomsburg; 8 grandchildren: Emily, Abigail, Olivia, Ethan, Noah, Mason, Leah, and Lily, and 14 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John Duerscheidt, and a nephew, Joshua Williams.

From the beginning, Sue dedicated her life to God and helped spread the gospel through all aspects of her life. Her devotion to her family, and strong belief in God supported her through her final days and ultimately gave her peace. As she would often say, "it is well, with my soul."

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Catawissa Christian Church, 319 Main St., Catawissa.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Catawissa Christian Church with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Williams family.
