Steven D. Persinger, age 55, of Catawissa, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 15, 2025, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Steven was a resident of his home in Catawissa for over 22 years.

He was born on Friday, January 31, 1969 in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Earl and Polly (Brown) Persinger. On April 17, 2003, Steven married his loving wife, the former Jennifer L. Casson. Steven was a member of the Catawissa Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking and all outdoor activities.

In addition to his parents, Steven was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Persinger.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 21 years, Jennifer L. Persinger, two daughters: Grace M. Persinger and her fiancee Blaine Eddy, Baylee A. Persinger and boyfriend, Cameron Robertson all of Catawissa, a stepdaughter, Jessica L. Krushauskas and her husband Thomas of Bloomsburg, a sister, Sharon Martinez and her husband Mario of Zapata, TX, four brothers, Richard Persinger of Camp Wood TX, Ronald Persinger and his wife Marina of Houston TX, Anthony "Andy" Persinger and his wife Leti of Camp Wood TX, David Persinger and his wife Reyna of San Angelo TX, his mother-in-law; Lynne King of Catawissa, a close friend and neighbor, Terri Kingston of Catawissa, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Catawissa Christian Church, 319 Main St., Catawissa, PA 17820.

Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Catawissa Christian Church with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Persinger family.
