Obituary

Stephen A. Tloczynski, age 55, of Bloomsburg, died on Monday, January 3, 2011 a patient of Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where he was admitted on December 30.
Stephen was born on Thursday, November 17, 1955 in Ashland, a son of Stephen J. Tloczynski of Mt. Carmel and the late Mary L. Hoffman Tloczynski. He was a member of the 1973 Graduating Class of Mt. Carmel High School and also the former Williamsport Area Community College where he earned a degree in Communication and Broadcasting. He was employed by Con Agra Foods in Milton since 1987. He was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Parish. Stephen had an avid enjoyment in a wide spectrum of different types of music as well as playing the saxophone and was also very talented in photography. He was very devoted and loyal in spending Saturday evening at the St. Cyril Adoration Chapel. His primary love and enjoyment was spending time with his wife and children, and their annual trips on vacation to the eastern shore.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Mary Jane Wydila Tloczynski, celebrating their anniversary on June 20, 1981; a daughter: Jessica Tloczynski; a son: Stephen A. Tloczynski, both of Bloomsburg; a sister: Mary Theresa Shankweiller and her husband, Jeff, of Allentown, and a brother: Joseph G. Tloczynski and his wife, Andrea, of Bloomsburg.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home of 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg. A Wake service will be held on Thursday at 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 7, at 11 a.m. at the St. Columba Catholic Church, Third and Iron Streets in Bloomsburg with Rev. Paul R. Fisher as celebrant. Graveside committal services will be held in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
