Stanley M. Heath, age 71, of Catherine St., Bloomsburg, died on Thursday, October 27, 2011 under the care of Columbia Montour Home Hospice while a patient at the Bloomsburg Hospital since Monday.
Stanley was born on Monday, July 15, 1940 in Sherman Mills, Maine, a son of the late David and Alma Heath. Throughout most of his working life, he was a long haul truck driver. He was last employed in the Maintenance Department of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Stanley was a faithful member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Bloomsburg.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Patricia (Knorr) Heath; five children: Kelly Montgomery and husband, John, of Winfield, NY; Chad Miller and wife, Choya, of Benton; Joseph Heath of Utah; Tracy Grimes and husband, Brian, of Virginia Beach, VA; and Amber Heath of Bloomsburg; and also two brothers: Timothy Heath of Indiana and Charles Heath of Maine. Stanley was preceded in death by a brother: Benjamin Heath in 2004.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 31 at 10:00 am at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 706 Central Rd., Bloomsburg with his pastor, Rev. John Kolenda, officiating. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg is assisting the Heath family.
