Sondra S. Myers, age 82, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at her Scott Township home with her loving family and friend by her side. Sondra was a resident of Bloomsburg all of her life.

She was born on Sunday, January 26, 1941 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Tennis G. and Erma (Knorr) Seiple. Sondra graduated from Central Columbia High School, Class of 1959. On June 8, 1963, Sondra married her loving husband, Kenneth L. Myers, who preceded her in death on April 29, 2018. For over 18 years, Sondra was employed by Bloomsburg Mills, she was also employed at R&G Silk Mill for more than 5 years, Heinz Foods/Clorox, Ore-Ida, and Windsor Foods, all of Bloomsburg. Sondra was a hard worker, she enjoyed making cookies, she loved her cats and mowing the grass.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sondra was also preceded in death by three brothers; Terry Seiple, Ted Seiple, Tom Seiple, and two sisters; her twin Shelby Hoffman and Cherie Collins.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Lorie M. Tavella and her husband Doug of Effort, PA, along with her four pet cats; Sunny, Izzy, Tiny, and Love.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Myers family.
