Sharon L. (Crawford) Reichard, age 60, of Bloomsburg died on Sunday morning, November 8, 2015 a resident of Balanced Care at Bloomsburg and under the care of Geisinger Columbia Montour Hospice.
Sharon was born on Friday, September 9, 1955 in Bloomsburg, one of three children to the late A. Dean and Janet (Montgomery) Crawford. While growing up in the Bloomsburg area, she attended and later graduate from the Central Columbia High School in 1974. For over 37 years, Sharon was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Assistance Office in Bloomsburg until her retirement in 2012. She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Lighstreet for many years. She was also a member of the Lightstreet Herb Guild and also participated in the restoration of the Barton House located on the Bloomsburg Fair Grounds.
Survivors include her only two brothers: Thomas J. Crawford of Nescopeck and Ronald D. Crawford and wife, Lisa, of Danville.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday evening, November 12th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will be held privately for the family at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., in Bloomsburg. Sharon will be laid to rest in the Lightstreet Highland Cemetery, Scott Township. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to be serving the Crawford family.
