Scott David Fenstermacher, age 35, of 1434 Hiawatha Drive, Virginia Beach, VA, died Tuesday, July 20, in Norfolk General Hospital where he was a patient since December 6, 2009.
Prior to residing in Virginia, Scott was a resident of Sinking Springs, PA and was a native of Bloomsburg.
Scott was born on Tuesday, October 1, 1974 in Bloomsburg a son of Susan (Lunger) Fenstermacher of Norfolk, VA and the late Gary W. Fenstermacher who died February 5, 2010. Following graduation from the Bloomsburg High School in 1993, Scott attended Penn State University and ultimately graduated from Bloomsburg University in 1999. While a resident of Bloomsburg, he was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Buckhorn. Scott was most recently employed as an insurance agent with Geico.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his wife Beth A. (Doherty) Fenstermacher. They were married October 14, 2006. Additional survivors include his brother: Jamie G. Fenstermacher of Norfolk, VA and maternal grandmother: Millie Lunger of Bloomsburg.
Services to honor his life and memory will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from Christ Lutheran Church, Buckhorn, with his pastor, Rev. Thomas E. Light, Jr. officiating.
