Sandra D. Wood, age 81, of Orangeville, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Bonham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Stillwater. Sandra was a resident of her home in Fishingcreek Twp. for over 35 years.

She was born on Friday, March 29, 1940 in Bloomsburg. Sandra graduated from the Bloomsburg High School. On October 22, 1960, Sandra married her loving husband, Raymond E. Wood. Sandra was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg, she enjoyed spending her time traveling and trail riding on her horse. Sandra will always be remembered for riding horses beside her beloved husband Raymond and as a kind and loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandson.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Raymond E. Wood; two daughters, Kimberly wife of Peter Llanso of Orangeville, Kathleen Dove of Orangeville, six grandchildren, Erin wife of Michael Beagle, Lauren Coombs wife of Ryan Windfeldt, Olivia Dove, Evan Llanso, Aaron Llanso, Leah Llanso, and a great grandson, Tate Beagle. The family would also like to recognize Sandra's dearest, loyal, and faithful friend, Lois Roberts, for all her support to Sandra throughout many years.

A memorial service to celebrate Sandra's life will be announced at a future date. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Wood family.

An acknowledgement of appreciation is also extended for the excellent care and support provided to Sandra and her family from the staff at Bonham's nursing facility.
