Sandra K. (Keller) Romig, forever 63, of Catawissa, completed her battle with cancer of nine months on Friday evening, July 26, 2019, at her home of thirty-one years surrounded by her family and friends while under the care of Geisinger Home Hospice.
Sandra was born on Saturday, September 17, 1955 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Bruce and Ida (Robbins) Keller. Throughout her younger years, Sandra attended the Bloomsburg High School and graduated in 1973. Sandra expanded her education by briefly attending the Bloomsburg University.
On September 14, 1974, Sandra married her loving husband, Terry W. Romig of Bloomsburg. For many years, Sandra worked throughout the valley caring for homes until her retirement in 2016. She was also employed briefly with the local Firestone tire company in Bloomsburg. Sandra enjoyed spending her time as a successful hunter and fisherwoman. Most of all, she loved spending her time with her family, children and grandchildren. Sandra asked to be remembered for her love for her family more than anything, and that Terry was her best-friend and will always be the love of her life.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was also preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Keller.
Survivors include her beloved husband 45 of years, Terry W.Romig of Catawissa, two sons, Kyle W. Romig of Catawissa, and Chad L. Romig and wife, Jenna, of Elysburg; three grandsons: Brody W. Romig, Jackson S. Romig and Blake L. Romig; a granddaughter, Grace M. Romig, and a brother, Rod Keller and wife, Susan, of Bloomsburg.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening, July 31, from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will also begin on Wednesday evening, at 6 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. in Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Romig family.
