Ryan K. Sitler, age 47, of Bloomsburg, died on Friday afternoon, May 24, 2013, a patient of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Ryan was born on Thursday, November 4, 1965 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late George E. Sitler who passed on July 18, 2005 and Donzella "Dolly" (Hartman) Sitler of Bloomsburg. Ryan completed his education after graduating with the 1983 Graduating Class of the Central Columbia High School.
For over 18 years, Ryan was employed by Autoneum in Bloomsburg as a non-woven operator. He was also employed previously by the former Baronel Company and Keck Drapery in Bloomsburg. He attended church at the Shiloh Bible Church in Almedia for a short while. Ryan will always be remembered for his smile, his love of fishing and hunting, and especially the love he had for his three daughters as they were his whole life. Ryan also love spending time at the beach on vacation with his family.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Dolly; is his wife, Sue M. (Chapin); three daughters: Laura, Madyson, and Emily; two sisters: Linda Snyder and husband, Wayne, of Rupert; and Lori Kile and husband, Gordon, of Bloomsburg; a brother: Richard Sitler also of Bloomsburg; and also by many nephews and nieces.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 10 a.m. also from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg with Rev. Robert J. Hess, officiating. Ryan will be laid to rest near his father in Lime Ridge. Memorial contributions are to be made to a Trust Fund that will be setup for Ryan's daughters at the First Columbia Bank & Trust Co., 232 East Street, Bloomsburg.
