Ruth J. Hrinda, age 91, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at her home in Scott Township where she resided for over 69 years.

She was born on Saturday, December 17, 1932, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn (Hess) Warburton. She graduated from the former Scott Twp. High School in 1950. On October 1, 1951, Ruth married her loving husband, Steve Hrinda, Jr. who preceded her in death on January 6, 2013. She was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of the Faith Bible Church, Orangeville and enjoyed horses, reading, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean LeVan and a brother-in-law, John "Jack" Hartzell.

Survivors include her three beloved sons; Dennis L. Hrinda and wife Nancy of Bloomsburg, James E. Hrinda and wife Angela of Orangeville and Scott A. Hrinda and wife Carla of Bloomsburg, 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way, a sister, Nancy Hartzell of Mifflinville and a brother-in-law, Russel "Tom" LeVan of Catawissa.

Graveside Services will begin on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at Lightstreet Highland Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Hrinda family.
