Rosemary (McHenry) Shultz, 84, of Mount Pleasant Township, passed away suddenly Monday, September 28, 2026, at her home. Born in Bloomsburg on August 28, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Elmer B. and Freda M. (Palmer) McHenry.
Rosemary was a graduate of Benton High School, Class of 1959, and would continue her education at Empire Beauty School. On August 15, 1959, she wed the love of her life, Larry R. Shultz, with home she would raise a family and share 53 years of marriage. For decades, Rosemary owned and operated Rosemary Shultz’s Beauty Salon in Bloomsburg, having retired just a few short years ago. She was an avid archer, a passion that she shared with her family. She also enjoyed bowling, gardening, bingo, and tending to her property. She loved spending time with her family, by whom she will be greatly missed.
Surviving Rosemary are her son, Todd L. Shultz and wife, Sue, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Alicia McHenry and husband, Dennis, of Orangeville, Bryant Johnson and companion, Jenn Hoffman, of Benton, and Kelsey Fell and Husband, Allen, of Benton; great-grandchildren: Hailey McHenry, Jamison Johnson, and Rowan Fell; and sister, Audrey Frey.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Larry R. Shultz, who passed away April 4, 2013. She was also preceded in death by siblings: Ramona Diltz and Richard McHenry.
