Ronald J. Hinchey, age 73, of Coal Township, died on Thursday, October 15, 2020, a resident of the Danville State Hospital.

He was born on Saturday, September 13, 1947, in St. Clair, PA to the late Hannah Hinchey. Ronald graduated from the Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville. Ronald expanded his education by attending McCann School of Business & Technology, and graduated with an Associate Degree. Ronald was employed in the clerical/computer department for over 10 years by the Pennsylvania State Police.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., with Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence, St. Columba Catholic Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Hinchey family.
