Obituary
Roger L. Temple, age 72, of Catawissa, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at his home where he resided for 11 years.
Roger was born on Friday, August 17, 1951 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Phillips) Temple. He graduated from the Millville High School. On August 2, 2012, he married his loving wife, the former Madelyn Rarig. For several years, Roger was employed by Verizon. He was a great father and a beloved pap and poppy. In his younger years Roger enjoyed building muscle cars, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Roger was also preceded in death by a son: Chris Temple; a daughter: Baby Girl Temple; three sisters: Nancy Temple, Kathy Temple, and Jane Temple.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 11 years, Madelyn Temple of Catawissa; three stepchildren; three granddaughters: Brittany, Kirsten, and Kylie; two great grandsons; six step grandchildren; two siblings: Harvey Temple, Jr., Marylou Strawser and husband, Gregory, several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of his wife. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Temple family.
