Roger T. Caracappa, age 38, of Cub Circle, Bloomsburg died on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at his Scott Township home. He was born on Thursday, September 20, 1973 in Babylon, New York, a son of the late Roger P. Caracappa and Connie (Thompson) Caracappa of Ft. Meyers FL.
Throughout his earlier years, Roger attended the North Babylon High School. Roger's working career was interrupted due to his failing health. He was also an accomplished and original artist.
In addition to his mother, Roger is survived by his companion of ten years: Michelle Meloy; two brothers: David Winston Caracappa and wife, Alisa, of New York, NY and Adam Paul Caracappa of Tuckahoe, NY; maternal grandmother: Bertha Hayes of Warner Robbins, GA and paternal grandmother: Theresa Caracappa of West Palm Beach, FL.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 1 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market St. Bloomsburg with Rev. Chris Dunlap, Columbia Montour Home Health and Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
