Robin C. Richart, age 46, of Bloomsburg, died on Thursday evening, March 28, 2013 a resident of Geisinger-Bloomsburg Health Care Center. Robin has been battling challenges in his health for the past few years.
Robin was born on Thursday, June 30, 1966 in Bloomsburg, as son of Chester E. and Gloria (Suprum) Richart also of Bloomsburg. Robin completed his education after graduating from the Bloomsburg High School in 1985. For many years, Robin worked on the security for the Bloomsburg Fair Association, and was most recently employed by Amcor Pet Packaging in Berwick. Robin remained very active for many years in the education and awareness during the Relay for Life events throughout the area. He was also the Captain of the teams during the Relay for Life. Robin always loved traveling and visiting different areas as well as spending time outdoors. Robin always had a great love for animals.
In addition to his parents, Robin is survived by a sister, Kelly Bronzburg and husband, Michael, of Elysburg and also a niece, Holly Marie Daniels of Denver, Co.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3 at 11 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg with Rev. Christian Dunlap, Chaplain of Columbia-Montour Hospice, officiating.
