Robert T. Wolff, age 78, of Millville, died on Thursday morning, May 5, 2016 at his home. He was a resident of his Greenwood Township home for 43 years. Robert was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1937 in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Christian S. and Emma (Trout) Wolff.
During his younger years, Robert attended school in Lancaster County. He completed his last two years of high school and graduated from the Millville High School in 1955. Following graduation he enlisted in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1959.
Robert was an equipment operator for the Washingtonville Power Plant of PPL. He retired after 27 years of service. He was a member of the Bloomsburg Christian Church, Bloomsburg Elks Lodge #436 BPOE and Oriental Lodge #460 of Orangeville.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and enjoyed racing, both locally and professional events.
On November 30, 1973, Robert married his loving wife, Faye (Beishline) Wolff.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, Robert is survived by two daughters: Shelly Levinstein and husband, Mark, of Dover PA and Shonda Stolz and husband, Kevin, of Bloomsburg; two sons: Randy Wolff and wife, Kristine, of Bloomsburg and Mark Beaver and wife, Bonnie, of Stroudsburg PA; six grandchildren and a sister: Martha Boose of Quarryville.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his three brothers: Christian F. Wolff, J. Shepard Wolff and Eugene Wolff.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening, May 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 107 West Main at Railroad Street in Millville.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday morning, May 11, at 10 a.m., at the Bloomsburg Christian Church, 107 Deussen Drive, Bloomsburg, PA with his pastor, Eric Miller, and family friend, Rev. Joel Stauffer, officiating. Private graveside services will be held in the St. James Cemetery in Stillwater where military honors will be presented by a combined group of VFW and American Legion veterans.
