Robert A. Pegg, age 75, of Danville, died on Thursday, November 11, 2021, a patient of the Select Specialty Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Robert was a resident of his home in Danville for over 27 years.

He was born on Tuesday, February 5, 1946 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Arnold and Esther (Hilliard) Pegg. Throughout his younger years he lived in Lightstreet. Robert attended the Central Columbia area schools, and later graduated from the Central Columbia High School in 1965.

On November 24, 1970, Robert married his loving wife, Marie A. (Kelchner) Pegg. Robert was employed by Bloomsburg Sand and Gravel for 11 years, he was also employed by Scott Township and was last employed by Town of Bloomsburg until his retirement.

Robert was a life member of the Lightstreet Fire Co., he enjoyed spending his time watching car racing and wrestling and doing cross word puzzles. He also enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his his beloved wife of 51 years, Marie A. Pegg, Robert is survived by daughters: Corenia Lytle of Millville and Mary Fairbrother of Danville, 3 grandchildren and siblings: Jean Leighow and husband, Jay, of Bloomsburg, Joan Wynings and husband, Thomas, of Danville, Janet Pegg and husband, Carroll Morias, of Sacramento, CA, and William Pegg of Bloomsburg.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, November 16, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, pastor of the Catawissa Christian Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Lightstreet Highland Cemetery, Lightstreet. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Pegg family.
