Robert G. "Pappy" Babb, age 77, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019, a patient of the Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital. Robert was a resident of his home in Bloomsburg for over 24 years.

He was born on Monday, October 13, 1941 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late George and Pauline Babb. On June 20, 1968, Robert married his loving wife, the former Donna Jean McKlveen who preceded him in death on March 11, 2018. For many years, Robert was a self employed Construction Worker, he also owned Pappy's Tree Service in the 1980's in Ohio.

He loved to ride motorcycles, camping with his family, playing pool, woodworking and spending time with friends and family. He served as an Assistant Scout Master, in the Boy Scouts during the 1990's in the Bloomsburg area.

Survivors include his four children, Robert G. Babb, Jr. and wife Sharlynn of Berwick, Mikki F. wife of Adam Jolley of Sundance, WY, Malynda J. Babb of Bloomsburg, Mary J. Babb of Bloomsburg, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a brother, Thomas Babb and wife Harriet of Lake Isabella, CA.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Babb family.
