Robert J. Cameron, Jr., age 80, of Orangeville, died on Saturday afternoon, August 17, 2013 following a tragic automobile accident in Millville.
Bob was born on Tuesday, May 9, 1933 in Philadelphia, a son of the late Robert J., and Marie Cameron, Sr. Throughout his younger years, Bob received his education from the Philadelphia Area Schools. Throughout most of his life, Bob worked across many parts of eastern Pennsylvania, and recently retired as a transportation driver for the Delaware Valley Scrap, Co. where he was employed for over 34 years.
On April 1, 2013, Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Murphy) Cameron. Bob was also preceded by a brother, Ronald Cameron and a sister, Alice O'Neil. Bob was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Survivors include four sons: Robert J. Cameron II of Millville; Joseph Cameron of Philadelphia; George Cameron and wife, Denise, of Benton; and Paul Cameron of Philadelphia; two daughters: Patricia Miller of Philadelphia and Sharon Cameron also of Philadelphia; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 West Main at Railroad Street, in Millville.
