Robert G. "Bob" Mosteller, age 89, of Millville, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, a resident of Emmanuel Nursing Center, Danville. Bob was a resident of Millville for over sixty years.

He was born on Tuesday, June 4, 1935 in Berwick, a son of the late Henry Frank and Vinnie Alice (Bettcher) Mosteller. He graduated from the Berwick High School in 1955. He faithfully served in the United States Navy from 1955-1965. Bob expanded his education by attending Williamsport Area Community College, graduating with an associate degree. On July 18, 1956, Bob married his loving wife the former Joanne L. Gordner. Bob was employed by Kennedy Van Saun, Danville as a Technical Illustrator from 1969-1972. He then opened his own business, Signs by Mosteller in 1972, until his retirement in 1997. Bob was a member of the Friends Meeting, Millville, Masons of Oriental Lodge Post No 460 of Orangeville, Service Committee of Millville, Historical Society Columbia Montour County. He was an Eagle Scout, Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed researching family ancestry, reading religious and historical books.

In addition to his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by two siblings: Mildred "Millie" Hock and Ralph Mosteller.

Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 68 years: Joanne L. Mosteller, of Millville; two children: David B. Mosteller and wife Pammy, of Millville, Deborah J. Fritz and husband Chet, of Cochranville; three grandsons: Jeremy Mosteller and wife Janet, of Danville, Ryan Fritz and wife Aileen, of Kennett Square, Joshua Mosteller and wife Candace, of Anchorage, AK and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will begin on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Friends Meeting House, 351 E. Main Street, Millville, PA. Visitation will follow the memorial service.

Memorial contributions in Bob's name are suggested to: Greenwood Friends School, 1509 State Route 254 Millville, PA 17846 where he was one of the founding members.
