Obituary

Robert C. "Bob" Breisch, age 75, 2999 Columbia Blvd., Bloomsburg died Thursday, April 9 at his residence. Bob was born July 14, 1933 in Main Twp, the son of the late Norman Ray and Cordelia Goldie ( Probst) Breisch. He attended schools in Beaver School in Mainville and Bloomsburg schools. During the Korean War, he served in the U. S. Army from April 8, 1953 to April 7, 1955. As a teenager, Bob was employed at Snyder's Dairy, R & G Silk Mill and Red's Esso. After his marriage, he was employed as a Dealer at Las Vegas Club, Las Vegas, NV.
In 1958 he returned to Bloomsburg and worked for Fought's Lunch. In 1963 Bob was employed by John Crawford Auto Sales. Bob was self-employed at Breisch's Auto Sales which he has owned and operated since he established the business in 1965. Bob was of the Lutheran faith. He was baptized June 17, 1939. Bob was an avid golfer, was a member of Frosty Valley Country Club from 1976-2005, was a former member of Bloomsburg Moose Lodge #623, and a member of Valley of Bloomsburg American Legion Post #283, Ft. McClure VFW Post #804, Bloomsburg Elks Lodge #436, Berwick Golf Club and Maria Assunta, Berwick. Survivors include his wife, Blanche (Fought) Breisch whom he married December 22, 1957 in Las Vegas, NV; daughter: Barbara Weaver and her husband, Brian, Millville; five sons: Rick, Wellsboro; Robert, Jr., Las Vegas; Barton, Bloomsburg; Bradley and his fiancé, Kim, Berwick and Britton, Sr. and his wife, Tracey, Rupert and three grandsons: Britton, Jr., Brandon and Nicholas Breisch. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 25 at 11 a.m. from Trinity United Methodist Church, 2361 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg with Pastor
