Robert G. "Bob" Allen Jr., age 67, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 2, 2020, at his Montour Twp. home, where he lived for the past 13 years. Bob, his wife and daughter had previously lived on Ida St., Berwick for over 30 years.

He was born on Saturday, February 28, 1953 in Berwick, a son of the late Robert G., Sr. and Jean (Romanelli) Allen. Bob attended the Berwick High School. On May 21, 1977, Bob married his loving wife, the former Sharon E. Kelshaw. For over 17 years, he was employed by St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg as the custodian until his retirement in 2017. Bob also worked for Good Shepherd United Methodist, Bloomsburg. Bob enjoyed his classic cars, his pride and joy is his 1970 Chevelle, as well as going on vacations with his wife to Lancaster. He especially loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 43 years, Sharon E. Allen, a daughter, Jennifer (Allen) Mensinger wife of Larry Mensinger, Jr. of Stillwater, five grandchildren, Sarah Feldi and companion Tyler Bialecki, David Feldi, III, Hunter Mensinger, Brayden Mensinger, Jameson Mensinger, four siblings; Karen Allen, Angela Wynings, David Allen, Cindy McHenry, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg with Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Allen family.
