Obituary
Robert W. Baumer, age 52, of Berwick, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 19, 2020.
He was born on Friday, October 6, 1967 in Danville, a son of Lois Honabach-Hammer of Bloomsburg and the late Charles Baumer. Robert attended Central Columbia High School and was a member of the Catawissa Christian Church. He was a certified open water scuba diver and a member of several gun clubs. Robert enjoyed spending his time scuba diving, hiking in the woods and parks, astronomy, and taking photographs of nature. He had a great love for animals, riding his Harley Davidson as well as hunting, fishing and target shooting.
In addition to his father, Robert was also preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Hammer.
Survivors include his mother, Lois Honabach-Hammer, a sister, Cindy Stephens, a brother, Chris Baumer and wife Melissa, a nephew, Jacob Stephens, all of Bloomsburg, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Baumer family.
