Obituary
Richard A. "Rick" Snyder, age 52, of Bloomsburg, died on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Richard was a lifelong resident of Bloomsburg.
He was born on Sunday, November 12, 1967 in Bloomsburg , a son of Jane (Daddario) Snyder of Bloomsburg and the late Gary Snyder. Throughout his younger years, Richard attended the Central Columbia schools, and later graduated from the Columbia Montour Vo Tech in 1985. Richard expanded his education by attending Williamsport Area Community College, graduating in 1987. For most of his working life he was employed as an electrician.
After completing college, Rick raced professional motocross for six years. He was crowned the "Wheelie King" of the East Coast.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two sons: Cooper J. Snyder and Owen L. Snyder both of Bloomsburg, a brother, Greg Snyder and wife, Sue, of Bloomsburg, a nephew, Dustin Snyder and wife Justine of Bloomsburg and two great nephews, Lincoln and Henry Snyder.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc.,745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Snyder family.
