Richard L. "Rick" Magill, 73, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026, a resident of the Sunbury Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Richard was born on Sunday, December 28, 1952 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late William and Hilda A. (Neufer) Magill. He graduated from the Central Columbia High School, class of 1970. On October 31, 1986, Richard married the love of his life, the former Carlene M. Chappell. For over 40 years, he was employed by Barletta until his retirement in 2015. Richard was a member of the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Bloomsburg. He was also a member of the Social American Legion, Catawissa Post 541. Richard enjoyed spending his time being an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Carlene M. Magill of Bloomsburg; step-children: Debra Hutchinson of Bloomsburg, Gregory Steimling of Mifflinville, Sue L. Bowen of Selinsgrove, Anthony C. Steimling and wife, Bonnie, of Sunbury, Steven A. Steimling of Bloomsburg, James F. Steimling, Dana B. Covelsky and husband, Charles, of Bloomsburg; as well as numerous grandchildren.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Magill family.
