Rebecca M. Allen, age 68, of Bloomsburg, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at her home in Hemlock Township. She had been ill for the past 15 years.
Rebecca was born on Wednesday, March 9, 1949 in Meadville, PA, a daughter of the late William Wayne and Martha Jane (Williams) North. On November 9, 1974, Rebecca married her loving husband, Robert G. Allen.
Rebecca graduated from Simi Valley High School, Simi Valley,CA in 1967. She earned an Associate Degree from Moorpark Community College, Moorpark, CA.
For over 20 years, Rebecca followed her husband in the US Navy around the Pacific Rim. Rebecca enjoyed spending her time with her family and reading.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 42 years, Robert G.Allen; children: Jennifer M. Allen of Bloomsburg, Brian W. Allen and wife Tasha of Ft. Worth, TX, and Terianna Laurenzano of Nipomo, CA: 5 grandchidren and a sister: Mary Jane Bean of Reno, NV.
At Rebecca's request there will be no services. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Allen family.
