Raymond A. "Dune" Bauman III, 72, formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, a resident of the Emmanuel Nursing Center, Danville.

Dune was born on Saturday, May 30, 1953 in Bloomsburg, the son of the late Raymond A. Bauman, Jr. and Madalyn Rose (Ent) Bauman. He graduated from Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1971. Dune was employed by Magee Carpet Company and worked there for over 25 years. He later worked alongside his uncle at Long's Supply company. Dune attended St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. He enjoyed playing pool and attending billiard competitions. In his younger years, Dune enjoyed playing guitar and performing in a band. He truly enjoyed motocross and riding motorcycles. This joy led to a passion for go-kart racing, along with his son, later in life. Dune enjoyed a special connection with the Bloomsburg Fair, having worked in maintenance for many years and his father having served as superintendent of the fairgrounds.

In addition to his parents, Dune was also preceded in death by brother, Robert "Bob/Bugsy" Bauman.

Survivors include his beloved children: Jenna B. McWilliams and husband, Brian, of Montoursville and Kyle L. Bauman and fiancée, Jessica Carter, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Alex McWilliams, Raegen McWilliams, Brecken McWilliams, all three of Montoursville, and Lillian Hampton of Bloomsburg; as well as a sister-in-law, Molly Bauman of Bloomsburg. 

A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Bauman family.
