Ralph Thomas Evans, age 95, of Mifflinville, passed away at home on Thursday, November 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Ralph resided in Mifflin township for over 55 years.

Born in Muncy, Thursday, January 2, 1930, Ralph was the son of the late Doyle and Josephine (Hock) Evans. He graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1948. Ralph enlisted in the Army in February of 1949 and served in the Korean War. On March 29, 1952, Ralph married his loving wife, Martha Beagle Evans, who preceded him in death on March 23, 2021. Ralph was employed for many years by Bell Telephone and AT&T as a PBX technician until his retirement in 1990. Ralph was an active member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mifflinville, for over 65 years, and served on the council for many years. Ralph and his wife, Martha, were members of The Susque Country Squares, a square dance club in Mifflinville. He was also a member of the Lions Club and enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Evans, and his sister, Doris Evans Beaver.

Survivors include his beloved children: Mary K. (Evans) Naunas and husband, Robert, of Allentown; Wayne D. Evans and wife, Warna, of Chambersburg; Nancy A. Evans of Macungie; and David R. Evans and wife, Marjorie, of New Tripoli; six grandchildren: Andrea Burkhart and husband, Joshua; Aaron Evans and wife, Taryn; Austin Evans and wife, Meagan, James Naunas; Davis Evans; Mitchell Evans; as well as four great grandchildren: Kristen, Logan, Farah, and Flynn Evans.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fifth and Race Streets, Mifflinville. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Daniel Warntz, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg, is honored to be serving the Evans family.
