Obituary
Philip S. Benbow, age 63, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at his home in South Centre Twp. of natural causes.
He was born on Saturday, August 13, 1960 in Mount Holly, NJ a son of the late Wilbert Louis and Edith Mae (Harrison) Benbow. He received his GED after starting work in the construction field during his high school years.
Philip went on to become a building inspector while in CA, and in his free time played in a band and enjoyed skeet shooting. Philip was a strong communicator, he never met a stranger and enjoyed holding conversations with those around him. As he got older, he enjoyed visiting with his niece and nephew, playing his drums and guitar and watching old movies.
He is survived by his sister Michelle Block and her husband Louis of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, his nephew Joshua Block and his niece Rebekah Block.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Benbow and Block families.
