Peter J. Selinsky, III, age 65, of Catawissa and formerly of Gilberton, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, a resident of the Sunbury Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Peter was born on Monday, September 15, 1958 in Ashland, a son of Ann Thomas and the late Peter Joseph Selinsky, Jr. He graduated from North Schuylkill High School, Fountain Springs. After graduating, Peter faithfully served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1982. For many years, Peter was self-employed as a painter where he was known as "Pete the Painter" until his retirement. He loved drumming and music, watching movies, football and baseball. Pete enjoyed going to myrtle beach with family, learning about history, playing in bands and helping others.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Janalene Bensinger.

Survivors include his mother; Ann Selinsky of Gordon; a son, Hunter Selinsky of Catawissa; three siblings; Jeanann Lute and husband Ted of Gordon, Raymond Grosser and wife Nancy of OK, Laura DeFalco and husband Bill of Birdsboro, also the Bittner Family and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Selinsky family.
